anna graduated from denison University’s BFA program in 2020. she received departmental recognition for her thesis, “everywhere you are.” Her artistic practice utilizes a mixture of paint and sculptural material (wood, ceramic, fabric and textiles) to address issues surrounding representations of the body. she uses her practice as a depiction of her own exploration of the human body and self-acceptance. she draws heavily on inspiration from 80’s architecture and interior design, specifically the work of Terence Conran, Krueck & Olsen, and archival work of Jim Kemp and Lorrie Mack. Her cohesive body of work represents her own relationship with the body, as well as her continued exploration into spirituality following various instances of loss throughout her life. As Anna continues to evolve as an artist, she is working on expanding her interests in graphic and fashion design.
